What is the Barcelona Netball Festival?
This festival combines our longstanding history of delivering outstanding netball tours with the high-energy expertise of Sasha and Kadeen Corbin, in a spectacular location approximately one hour from Barcelona city.
This is the second year Smile have held this event, following its inaugural running in 2024.
Where will the festival be held?
Situated in the town of Salou, Mediterranean Sports Village is a centre of sporting excellence, specialising in hosting youth, club and professional sports teams from all over the world.
The tour package boasts fantastic training facilities, both indoor and outdoor, and access to three pools at the resort.
Who is eligible to take place in the Barcelona Netball Festival?
The Barcelona Netball Festival is open to under-14 to under-16 groups from clubs or schools.
Who are Sasha and Kadeen Corbin?
Sasha and Kadeen are powerhouses of the international netball stage, with Kadeen being part of the England Squad that won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and Sasha’s having enjoyed a 10-year tenure as captain of Saracens Mavericks.
Most recently, they both represented Barbados at the 2023 NWC in South Africa.
What will Sasha & Kadeen deliver during the festival?
Alongside coaching and Q&A sessions, the aim of Sasha and Kadeen's masterclasses is to combine individual and team development, focusing on movement skills, centre court, defending and attacking circle play, and tactical and strategic play.
