Your team will take part in a professional training session with a local coach and play a competitive fixture against a well-matched local team, providing a great opportunity to experience rugby in a new environment.

Away from the pitch, there is time to explore Barcelona at your own pace, with opportunities for shopping, sightseeing and experiencing the city’s vibrant atmosphere. The tour also includes the option to watch a local sporting fixture, subject to dates, adding another sporting experience to your trip. With a balance of rugby, training and free time, this Barcelona tour is ideal for schools and clubs looking to combine competitive sport with a memorable European team experience.

Full Itinerary (Example)

DAY 1:

  • Arrive at Barcelona Airport, where you will be greeted by a local Smile representative.
  • Private transfer to Hotel Front Maritim to check in (or similar).
  • Enjoy self-arranged lunch.
  • Transfer to a local sports facility for a professional training session with a local coach.
  • Transfer back to the accommodation, enjoy dinner (self-arranged) and retire for the night.

DAY 2:

  • Enjoy breakfast at the accommodation.
  • Spend the day at leisure exploring Barcelona, with time for shopping and sightseeing.
  • Transfer back to the accommodation, enjoy dinner (self-arranged) and retire for the night.

DAY 3:

  • Have breakfast at the accommodation.
  • Take to the pitch for a friendly fixture against a well-matched local team (MATCH DAY 1), with post-match funtion.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (self-arranged).
  • Explore the option to watch a local sporting fixture (subject to dates).
  • Enjoy dinner (self-arranged) and retire for the night.

DAY 4:

  • Enjoy breakfast at the accommodation.
  • Check out of the accommodation.
  • Transfer to Barcelona Airport for departure.

 

Package Includes

  • Return flights from UK to Barcelona.
  • 3 nights' accommodation on bed and breakfast basis at Hotel Frony Maritim (or a similar 4-star accommodation).
  • Return airport, training and match transfers.
  • X 1 training session (filtered water included), X 1 fixture with well-matched local team (with post match function included).
  • Service of a local Smile representative in Barcelona.
This tour is based on;
A minimum of 3 nights on bed and breakfast basis (additional nights are available on request).
